Nepal Tourism Year

A motorcycle rally is being conducted from Thankot to Nagarkot to mark the commencement of Nepal Tourism Year (NTY) 2011 on Thursday.   

It is reported that participants from various organisations have marked their presence in the rally, which is coordinated by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) for extensive advertisement of NTY 2011.

Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subash Chandra Nembang and UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal inaugurated the rally at Thankot.

Similarly, Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Prakash Man Singh and CPN-UML Jhalanath Khanal addressed the rally at Kalanki and New Baneshwor respectively.

Likewise, Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Chairman Upendra Yadav and Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party Chairman Narayan Man Bijukchhe will address the rally in Koteshwor and Bhaktapur respectively
