A motorcycle rally is being conducted from Thankot to Nagarkot to mark the commencement of Nepal Tourism Year (NTY) 2011 on Thursday.    It is reported that participants from various organisations have marked their presence in the rally, which is coordinated by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) for extensive advertisement of NTY 2011. Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subash Chandra Nembang and UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal inaugurated the rally at Thankot. Tara air-crash

The bodies of the three crewmembers killed in the Tara Air airplane crash has been handed over to their families on Friday. The bodies were handed over to the families after autopsy at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in the Capital. The last rites of the deceased—Captain Anup Raj Shakya, Co-Pilot Sachindra Shrestha and Air Hostess Sadikshya Gurung—will be carried out today, family sources have confirmed.
